Pioneer’s iControlAV application even enables you to turn your iPhone or iPod touch into a fully functioning remote control for the receiver. With the Bluetooth adaptor, the VSX-LX53 features wireless Bluetooth audio streaming from any Bluetooth-enabled device. The new Pioneerdeveloped Sound Retriever AIR will restore sound pressure and density that were reduced during the Bluetooth compression process and suppresses noise caused by the transmission. In addition, the receiver is capable to provide a 3D experience with the latest HDMI version 1.4a, can decode HD Audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTSHD Master Audio, and features Dolby ProLogic IIz height channel processing for an enhanced front surround sound experience. When connected to a new Blu-ray player via HDMI, the VSX-LX53 uses PQLS technology for a jitterless transmission, resulting in high-quality sound.
