Wharfedale Evo 4.3 3 way Speakers are a more compact floorstanding speaker in the Evo range of speakers developed by Wharfedale.

Featuring high performing AMT, soft dome mid-range, SSLP bass reflex system and solid cabinet construction to provide excellently efficient and realistic audio reproduction.

The highly regarded brand Wharfedale have harnessed technologies and components from the Elysian project models to incorporate into this new range of speakers, which have been designed to be available at a more accessible level.

Air Motion Transformer

Wharfedale Evo 4.3 specifically focuses on implementing Air Motion Transformer tweeter technology for low distortion levels and improved dynamics and resolution.

The Evo series of speakers are visually stunning and have a tastefully sleek look about them that will remain stylish for years to come. Available in three colour options; walnut, white wood and black, the speakers are designed to fit whatever your taste preference may be.

Durable materials

Not only this, the Evo range incorporate Kevlar fibres which are strong yet lightweight for the woven cone alongside a low-distortion motor system which is fitted with a low-loss rubber surround to produce the most natural-sounding and immersive sound experience.

Wharfedale’s new EVO4 has grown out of the extensive research and development that produced the ELYSIAN flagship loudspeakers and borrows much of the technology involved in ELYSIAN.

The primary focus is on the AMT development resulting in a radically different way of reproducing high frequency detail efficiently and accurately. Similar cabinet technology to ELYSIAN provides a stable and solid foundation for the drive units with radiused edges to help integrate the driver output with the room acoustics. In addition the unique SLPP bass reflex system, as developed for ELYSIAN, is now incorporated in EVO4.

DFS

Using the same arrangement of drive units as the larger models, the DFS produce the same direct and ambient sound fields, yet are lighter and smaller, with a choice of black cloth (non-removable

DFS stands for ‘Diffuse Field Surround, an ideal for the reproduction of rear surround effects in a bipolar speaker specifically designed and engineered for rear wall mounting. It produces both ambient and direct sound for accurate stereo rear effects. A good rear sound requires both ambient sound and pinpoint stereo imaging. With the Wharfedale DFS speaker, you can recreate a convincing and realistic rear sound field using a single pair of speakers.

The profiled baffle provides exceptional dispersion characteristics for an open and revealing sound while the extruded triangular cross-section is essential for the acoustic nature of the rear sound field.

Tonal matching of a Home Cinema is achieved by using the KEVLAR cones with KEVLAR or carbon-based front speakers, whilst the polypropylene version is more appropriate for other cone materials such as paper/pulp based cones, or indeed, other polypropylene based models.

WCM-65

Wharfedale WCM-65 In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair) introduces the highly acclaimed Wharfedale sound to the Custom Installation market and offers a great performance at an affordable price. WCM-65 features a rotatable tweeter for optimised positioning.

WCM-65 presents Wharfedale’s premium build quality along with a sonically pleasing sound. The trimless exterior design with magnetic micro-perforated grilles ensures a seamless blend between wall or ceiling and speaker. The simplistic and discreet exterior hides the advanced drivers and crossover networks that are housed within.

Quality Materials

The rigid polypropylene bass driver paired with an ultra-durable, high-excursion rubber surround enables stability under high pressure and extensive bass output. Titanium dome tweeters with highly efficient neodymium motor systems complete the wide frequency response with a scintillating high frequency and wide dispersion.
