Marantz PM6006

The Marantz PM6006 integrated amplifier continues in the tradition of its award-winning predecessor (the PM6005), while adding a few key upgrades. They've added a second optical input to accommodate another digital source, and the entire digital section is fully shielded by an extra metal housing so analog signals are unaffected by the digital stage. Connect a network music player or streaming media device in addition to analog components like a turntable or AM/FM tuner. A high-quality digital-to-analog converter decodes high-resolution audio files and improves the sound quality of your CD player. And speaking of CD players, the PM6006 pairs perfectly, sonically and visually, with the Marantz CD6006. You can even use the same remote to control both units.

Clean, dynamic power

The PM6006's clean, dynamic power will infuse your music with presence and clarity. It retains the PM6005's preamp and power amp sections, while boosting peak current at the amplifier stage for even more refined, detailed sound. A high-current power supply features a toroidal power transformer with high-current storage capacitors, so the amplifier can handle demanding 4-ohm speakers along with dynamic peaks in music.
